
Paige Logan Prater, MPH is a Sociology PhD Candidate at UCSF in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her research examines how racialized and gendered socialization shape bodily autonomy and reproductive trajectories among Asian diasporas in the United States. She is also interested in intergenerational health narratives and knowledge outside of allopathic medicine. Paige has a BS in psychology from Davidson College and an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to UCSF, she worked at Ipas as a Policy and Advocacy Advisor where she advocated for the protection and expansion of sexual and reproductive healthcare at state and federal levels. She is a reproductive justice advocate, abortion doula, and community-driven researcher.
