Joyce Walker serves as the Vice President of Community Development for PK Management, LLC, a diversified real estate development and property management company. In that capacity, she is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and facilitating the implementation of projects related to her department, where she manages a budget in excess of $4.7 million. She has over 10+ years of experience in fundraising and development and over 20 years of experience in social work with families, children, and older adults and contributes to community organizations and boards regarding housing issues, community resources, mental health issues and marketing. Joyce serves on the Board of Directors for Step Forward, American Society on Aging and Justice in Aging. In 2013, she was chosen as a “Woman of Outstanding Leadership” by The International Women’s Leadership Association. Joyce is also a current member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Top Ladies of Distinction, INC. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Business Administration from Knoxville College, Knoxville, TN. She obtained her graduate degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, Mandell School of Social Sciences, and post graduate work at Harvard University and Princeton University.
