Kourtney Nham is a doctoral student in the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences at UCSF. Her research interests center around experiences of gendered and sexualized violence amongst Asian and Asian American women, as well as analyzing the ways race is employed and circulated in biomedical institutions and emergent biotechnologies. She received a BA in Human Biology and Society with a minor in Asian American Studies from UCLA.
