Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow and the director of community engagement, Aging & Brain Health Alliance, Rutgers University. One area of my research examines early detection of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) in older Black men. I study the ways to detect progression and conversion to ADRD in Black men, long before presentation of behavioral symptoms. A second area of my research examines early detection of cancer in older Black men. I study psychosocial factors that predict fatal stage cancer diagnosis and survivorship in older Black men
